Introduction of Entrepreneur

          
         Basically, the word entrepreneur originates from the French word ‘entreprendre’ which it means to undertake. The concept of entrepreneurship has a wide range of definition. One of the meaning an entrepreneur is a person of very high attitude who pioneers change. Other than that anyone who wants to work for himself or herself is also considered to be an entrepreneur. According to Austrian economic, Joseph Schumpeter’s view of entrepreneur placed on emphasis on innovation such as, new product, new production, new market, and new form of organisation.
Recently, the government is very encouraging that many Malaysians especially the youth to become entrepreneurs. It is because through entrepreneurship, it can increase national economy. Because of that, there are many programs conducted by the government in order to create a successful entrepreneur. For an example, the government provide skills training for new entrepreneurs such as ICT development program, Global Entrepreneurship Week and many more.

            If we want to be a successful entrepreneur we should have good traits, such as, networked, open risk taker, observant, visionary, failures is an option, open culture, outcome oriented, team oriented, and proactive. Other than that, we have to be strong and hardworking to be succeed. The example of successful entrepreneurs are Thomas Smale, Richard Branson Datuk Ramly Mokni, Marissa Mayer, Datuk Aliff Syukri, Datuk Jimmy Choo, Tony Fernandes, Robert Kuok, Datuk Dr Che Rozmey Che Din and many more. Due to the successful entrepreneur, there is much contribution that they have given to the community and also to the country, such as, being an inspiration to the new generation who want to be an entrepreneur. Entrepreneur also provides high employment, and they also can fulfil human needs. Otherwise, without them the country will have to suffer the regression.
